This Sunday, Guidance Green will celebrate its fourth anniversary as Guidance's environmentally-friendly committee. Guidance Green oversees the company's carbon neutrality and sustainability efforts. In 4 years, the committee has collected over 200 pounds of trash and litter at local beaches, hosted 4 educational events, helped plant dozens of trees, succulents and flowered plants, and worked alongside several environmental organizations including Heal The Bay, Tree Musketeers and Land Conservation.
To commemorate our fourth anniversary, Guidance Green hosted an event today at our offices in Marina del Rey. Guidance CTO and founder of Guidance Green, Jon Provisor, addressed the audience, reminding everyone of the importance of Guidance Green’s mission. Attendees enjoyed catered food from Veggie Grill and Whole Foods as well as games, eco-trivia and prizes. Recycled art projects were submitted by Guidance employees for our “From Trash to Treasure” contest. Catherine took home the first place for her steampunk-inspired artistic photo frame, while Debbie’s Easter egg basket came in close second.
